Starting from Aladdin and working clockwise: Aladdin also called Prince Ali, then you have the prince from Snow White who is nameless but referred to as “The Prince”, then you have Prince Eric from Little Mermaid, then is the prince from Cinderella who is also nameless but is often referred to as “Prince Charming” even though I don’t think this titled is mentioned in the movie, then is Prince Phillip from Sleeping Beauty, and lastly is the Beast from Beauty, who is nicknamed Prince Adam by Disney animators.

Bottom Right: Prince Adam, this is never mentioned in the Disney movie, but from the original story his name is Adam.
Well I know mermaid’s guy is eric, and obviously alladin. I think sleeping beauty’s actually is named charming, but for him, snow white’s, and cinderellas I don’t think their names are ever mentioned. The beast-turned-model may have gotten a name in the spin off movies, but otherwise he’s “beast” and “arrogant/selfish prince”.
Princess Aurora’s (Sleeping Beauty) Prince’s name is Phillip and Princess Ariel’s Prince’s name is Eric. They are the only princes (along w Aladdin, of course) whose names are mentioned in the movies. And as a fan of Aurora, I will have it noted she fell in love with Phillip BEFORE the kiss.
Prince Eric, ‘The Prince’ (named Prince Ferdinand by Disney fans), and Aladdin. Prince Charming, Prince Phillip, ‘The Beast’ (named Prince Adam by Disney fans, but it’s been confirmed that that is not his actual name).
Oh it gets better. original beauty and the beast had a gentle loving monster. teaching children beauty is on the inside. additionally belle had two sisters who were greedy and needy and she took care of them and her poor father -like cinderella. Beast let her leave the castle but he almost died of heartbreak because he loved her so much.
Disney movie interpretation- if you man is abusive and mean it’s your fault and if you love him enough and keep coming back to him after the abuse he’ll eventually change.
it appears that it would also behoove you to be caucasian… aladdin barely qualifies as middle eastern. he mostly just looks like the other princes with a tan. you think these guys are going to let prince naveen (from the upcoming princess & the frog) into their golf club? disney really took a comedically loooong time to make an attempt to provide racially balanced content. i wonder how many more centuries it will take them to provide us with a biracial princess love story?
For the sake of accuracy, all of these stories are not original Disney. Disney based these animations on much older stories. However, Disney does have a tendency to select stories that perpetuate this.
How about Robin Hood? Prince John didn’t get the girl in that one.

All those things just to perpetuate a species! Ridiculous! As for names, who cares!
